Baked Broccoli Mac

Ingredients
1 1-pound box elbow or penne pasta
2 cups chopped fresh broccoli
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy whipping cream or half-and-half
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
½ cup cubed pasteurized cheese product
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
Salt
Black pepper
Topping:
2 cups breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons butter
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large pot cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well and add broccoli, chicken broth, cream, mozzarella, cheese product, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
For Topping:
- In a bowl mix breadcrumbs, butter, and Parmesan cheese.
- Place in a large baking dish and sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture. Bake 10 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
