
Easy Pasta Salad

Ingredients
1 pound pasta noodles of choice
1 15-ounce can peas, drained
1 15-ounce can diced or sliced carrots, drained
1 16-ounce package diced ham
1 2½-ounce package real bacon pieces
1 6-ounce package cheddar cheese cubes
2½ cups mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar
½ cup juice from bread and butter pickles
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons mustard
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place in a large bowl. Add peas, carrots, ham, bacon pieces, and cheese cubes.
- In a separate bowl mix mayonnaise, sugar, pickle juice, vinegar, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture over pasta and mix well. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
